Peter J. McGovern Museum & Official Store - Williamsport, PA
In the span of one short off-season, the old Little League museum was completely gutted and renovated into a new fan destination. Media, artifacts and graphics combine to tell the complete story of Little League’s mission, history and recent international expansion; place visitors “In the Game” through a series of interactive exhibits; and showcase famous World Series moments and distinguished Little League members.
The self-guided experience is organized into six gallery “Innings,” a structure unique to the game, and directed counterclockwise as if running the bases. Visits begin and end at the Official Little League Store accessible to both ticket holders and the public. The notable centerpiece is the dramatic drum that displays 8’, 270° graphics in the store and houses the theater for the Museum’s 1st Inning gallery, the beginning of the visit.
The new interactive museum, voted Pennsylvania’s top family attraction by TripAdvisor, features popular exhibits like a timed indoor running track, a 3D catch simulation, and a Global Connections Touch Table illustrating the impact the organization has had on kids worldwide.

The World of Little League museum is not just a spectators’ sport. The newly re-envisioned museum is a multi-faceted, interactive, multimedia experience extending far beyond the borders of a baseball diamond.
