PINE Restaurant – Hanover Inn

This collaboration with Bill Rooney Studio in New York at the CambridgeSeven-designed Hanover Inn resulted in a warm and inviting space reflective of rural and agrarian New England architecture. Hand-sawn barn board walls and ceiling beams, repurposed from a Dartmouth barn, preserve the inherent character of the elements and are accented by clapboard walls, a classic New England building material. The fireplace, an interpretation of a nineteenth century New England industrial mill and blacksmith forge, serves as the centerpiece of the restaurant.
