Arcus Depot
Kalamazoo, MI
This historic 1874 passenger depot and warehouse was restored and transformed to serve as a new hub for community activity. Designed to house non-profit organizations focused on human rights, civil rights and animal rights, the renovated depot includes shared spaces that encourage interaction and communication among the advocacy groups. A 1,500 sf winter garden provides much-needed gathering space and is supplemented by a café in the renovated warehouse portion of the complex.
