Marine Science Center at Fintas

Designed to support a renewed interest in Kuwait’s maritime culture and further the understanding of regional, gulf-related environmental concerns, this new Marine Science Center is composed of three distinct elements: a laboratory wing; an administrative and classroom wing that promotes interaction among faculty disciplines and creates a sense of community; and a connecting lobby space for student gatherings and exhibits. It is supplemented by an extensive harbor facility for nine research vessels.
