MBTA – Forest Hills Station

Boston, MA

Built as part of the Southwest Corridor Improvement Program, this large transportation hub houses waiting and transfer areas for the bus, trolley, subway, and commuter rail system, plus passenger pick-up and drop-off points for automobiles, and parking for 275 cars. It includes a large parkland development and street and sidewalk improvements. The station was given the appearance of a greenhouse pavilion complex in response to its surrounding green spaces and public parks.
