Expo ’67 – U.S. Pavilion

Montreal, Canada

CambridgeSeven and R. Buckminster Fuller were selected by the United States Information Agency to design the U.S. Pavilion and Exposition at Expo ‘67, Montreal. Design of the interior space integrated the spectator with the exhibits. Reflective of the American creative spirit in cinema, painting, sculpture, folk art, and space exploration, the exhibits within the Pavilion revealed the individual search for creative expression, the theme for U.S. participation in Canada’s centennial celebration.
