Elevated Walkways

CambridgeSeven developed a new climate-controlled pedestrian walkway system at Logan International Airport to link the passenger terminals with their parking garages. This passenger circulation network creates a cohesive architectural statement within Logan Airport. A system of elevated walkways, suspended 40 feet above Logan’s roadways, extend the terminal environment out to the garages. Each walkway carries two moving sidewalks separated by a stationary walk featuring a marine life motif cast in terrazzo.
