Danielle McDonough Receives AIA Young Architects Award

Danielle McDonough, AIA

We’re delighted to announce that Senior Associate Danielle McDonough, AIA, LEED AP BD+C, has been selected as a recipient of the AIA’s Young Architects Award! This prestigious award honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional leadership and made significant contributions to the architecture profession early in their careers.

We’ve seen that leadership in action on several notable projects throughout her career at CambridgeSeven. Danielle has served as Project Architect through design and construction on WBUR CitySpace, the Boston Museum of Science, and is currently coordinating the design during construction of The Foundry in Cambridge into a community hub for culture and innovation. She’s also an enthusiastic organizer of our office events, helping to keep the firm’s culture thriving even in this year of online get-togethers.

Equally active outside the office, Danielle is the New England Representative to the AIA Strategic Council and was a member of the AIA Strategic Planning Committee. Locally, she serves on the BSA membership committee and has taught both undergraduate and graduate studios at Boston Architectural College. Her industry involvement began as an architecture student at Northeastern University, where she was an active member of AIAS and served as the National AIAS Vice President after graduation.
