CambridgeSeven’s design for this growing children’s and science museum accommodates expanded programs in a new building on the existing wooded campus, integrating the museum’s commitment to universal access for all visitors. The two-story structure includes new lab/classroom space, a dedicated area for changing, temporary exhibits, and a new lobby experience. The light-filled, child-scaled museum incorporates a range of playful elements into its design, including an interior “house” that replicates the museum’s original home on the campus.
